Standards

Our chest floats and swim trainers are manufacturer-certified to EN 13138-1, the European standard for buoyancy aids used in swimming instruction. A copy of the manufacturer's test report is available on request from support@mambobaby-usa.com.

Materials and construction

Most of our floats use a solid foam core instead of an air chamber, so there is nothing to inflate. Travel floats marked "self-inflating" use a core that expands when unpacked. Chest floats hold your baby with adjustable straps at the shoulders, chest and between the legs.

Using your float

• Check the age and weight range on the product page before use.
• Fasten and check every buckle and strap before each swim.
• Keep the stability tail attached for younger babies.
• Rinse in fresh water after use and dry in the shade.
• Stop using the float if a strap, buckle or seam is damaged, and contact us under our warranty.

Supervision

Mambobaby floats are swimming aids, not life-saving devices. Always keep your child within arm's reach and never leave them unattended in or near water, even for a moment.
